Common Good Band

Our house band brings joy every Sunday during popovers, with additional guest musicians playing throughout the week.

• Sundays (Summer) – 7:30–11:30 AM
• Sundays (Winter) – 9:00–11:00 AM

All tips go toward supporting our programs. Music is open to all — come play or just enjoy!

Dog of the Day

Every day, we celebrate a local pup! Volunteers pick a “Dog of the Day,” photograph them, and post their portrait in the dining area for all to see.

When: Daily during popovers

Sewing Group: Green Bag Lady & the Bagettes

Join our free community sewing group and help make reusable fabric bags for the community as part of the international Green Bag Lady Project!

When: Thursdays, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Where: Common Good Soup Kitchen
What to Bring: Your own sewing machine and scissors if you have them
Who Can Join: All are welcome — no experience necessary
New Members: Get a free reusable fabric bag

Over 200,000 free bags have been sewn and distributed worldwide!

Art Group: SoulCollage®

SoulCollage® is a guided, intuitive art-making process that uses imagery to explore self-reflection, healing, and discovery. No artistic talent necessary.

When: 3rd Tuesday of each month, 1:00–3:00 PM
Where: Common Good Food Pantry, 19 Clark Point Rd, Southwest Harbor
Bring: Paper-cutting scissors, glue stick, and any inspiring images or magazines (if you have them)
Cost: Donation to the food pantry + optional materials donation
Facilitator: Leeann — retired art educator and certified SoulCollage® facilitator
